Well, it was even better than expected - we got home 27 hours later than planned thanks to the storms over the weekend! He is now officially broken in - 2 nights in a tiny 2 man caravan on top of a hill in Somerset is about all my poor accountant husband (luckily he grew up on a farm in South Africa) could handle! Feel much better now that we are back where there is a hot shower! :-D A pity about losing a day's annual leave to this though. I've always heard that there was an idea behind Win ME... I still can't figure out what that was... anyboy know??? I;ve herad the idea was that it was supposed to be n operating system but I doubt this. - Brian Delahunty

Can't say i do, Brian. One thing i've noticed in my short career as a programmer, is that while i am coding, i *rarely* need to move cattle around. But in a previous job, and while growing up, this was more of a daily activity and thus often necessitated convincing cows who had walked into areas they shouldn't have that it was in their own best interest to back back out of them.
