Of those that have received national media attention over the last few years, I'd but it at about 66%, that said I can only come up with three, and the one that is knocking it down only fits very loosely. It may be 75, depends on how a court case turns out.

The last place I contracted for, when I got a new computer, a support technician was sent to install Vis Studio, SqlServer, and Expression. He was 19 or 20 and the nephew of the head of IT. He brought all the CDs handed them to me and then proceeded to sit right outside my cube and watch me install them. That way, he confided, it was a win-win. I knew how to install the disks; he'd be able to bring them back as soon as i was through with them; and nobody could send him out on another call until then. “The fact that some geniuses were laughed at does not imply that all who are laughed at are geniuses. I think the lady may either need, or has already had, a lobotomy. The man who insists that he will walk the middle of the road has his path determined for him by those who define the ditches, and never then takes a step of his own real choosing.

ASSERT(!"WTF?"); is the offender in question. :-D I have it there to mark a situation that should never arise. It happened because I was working at home, and the database wasn't up to par with the current development database. :) -- Kein Mitleid Für Die Mehrheit

I don't wish to interfere in this thread except to state the fact that your knowledge of Indian history is as good as nothing. Disease, malnutrition, inter-faction rivalries, religious intolerance were all started by the East India Company, the French, Portuguese and the muslim invaders in the last 400 years of her history. Try reading up on Vedic Science, Mathematics and philosophy. It's a shame that we ourselves don't give it the respect it deserves, so I don't expect foreigners to do so. SG Aham Brahmasmi!

Wow, talk about your blasts from the past. The beauty of that little joke is that it tries to poke fun at Microsoft (actually software in general) by playing the the "reliability" of GM. How did that whole reliability thang work out for GM? I'm guessing they probably used a couple of pieces of Microsoft technology to put together the bankruptcy papers. They may have even used word and/or outlook when emailing their begging letters to DC. -Rd Hit any user to continue.
