Mark, voting doesn't bother me one way or the other. It never has. It never is my intention to cause others to get upset with whatever words I use, and where I have upset people, then, with certain exceptions, I am generally apologetic. That said, my words "The value placed on human life" could have been said with greater clarity. I wasn't referring to their financial value but their social, educational, health & welfare, religious and their potential future prospects, by suggesting values in Pakistani society is markedly different from western ways. I have, to some extent rectified that in a reply to Richard MacCutchan with those various references. Although I don't care much for people's personal blogs, partly because they too can be a source of one-sidedness, but there seemed some interesting points that was raised in some of them, but that does not mean I fully accept every word stated. The final resource was from the Federal Research Division of the Library of Congress, so presumably there are elements of truth when that document was authored.
